City Info: Filderstadt is a city in the centre of Baden-Württemberg, directly south of the state capital Stuttgart. The town, which was founded in 1975 as part of the municipal reform, already had more than 20,000 inhabitants when it was founded and was therefore declared a Great District Town with effect from 1 July 1976.
